Matrix Design Group, Inc.‘s Planning Team is working with Russell County, Alabama, to help shape its Comprehensive Plan 2050, a long-term framework that will guide decisions around growth, development, infrastructure, and quality of life. 
 
As part of this project, Matrix is leading ongoing community engagement efforts to gather input from residents about their priorities for Russell County’s future. WTVM News Leader 9 recently covered one of these community meetings, where residents discussed opportunities for growth while preserving the rural and agricultural character that defines the area. 
 
This input will help inform the Comprehensive Plan and ensure it reflects the needs, priorities, and vision of the people who call Russell County home.
