Matrix was proud to support the Hagåtña Restoration and Redevelopment Authority at the Organic Act of Guam’s 75th Anniversary Historic Festival.

As part of the Our Hagatña initiative, we helped debut the Hagåtña Barrio Map—a powerful visual display inviting families to locate ancestral lots and reconnect with their roots. Seeing names and handwritten records from the 1940 census moved many to tears.

This event marks the start of a long-term journey to honor heritage, gather community voices, and revitalize Guam’s historic capital. Digitization efforts are already underway—stay tuned for what’s next.
