The Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo (HARP) continues to shape the future of downtown Pueblo.

Matrix Design Group is proud to celebrate the completion of the new Boathouse and Phase IV of the Riverwalk, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening that welcomed community leaders, stakeholders, and residents to this exciting new destination.

As lead civil engineer and landscape architect for the Gateway Plaza and Channel Extension, our team provided site design and infrastructure development, civil engineering, landscape architecture, stormwater management, structural channel design, and construction administration services. Working within a complex urban redevelopment environment, we helped transform aging infrastructure into a vibrant public space that enhances connectivity, supports tourism, and strengthens Pueblo’s cultural and economic vitality.

For more than two decades, Matrix has partnered with HARP to help create a waterfront destination that continues to serve as an icon for the City of Pueblo. We’re honored to have contributed to this latest chapter and to see the vision come to life for the community.
