It was a pleasure to welcome Denver City Councilman Chris Hinds to Matrix Design Group, Inc.‘s Denver office last Friday for a conversation about accessibility, inclusion, and the built environment.

Councilman Hinds has been a strong advocate for accessibility in Denver, and we appreciated the opportunity to hear his perspective on the challenges people with disabilities continue to encounter in navigating their communities.

During the visit, Steven Mifsud MBE and our Matrix team shared perspectives from our work helping organizations address accessibility across the built environment. The discussion reinforced the importance of considering accessibility early and intentionally, not simply as a matter of ADA compliance, but as an important part of creating places and experiences that allow people to participate fully, independently, and with dignity.
