With more than 20 years of civil and transportation engineering experience, MaríaAngélica has led transformative multimodal infrastructure projects across the Southwest. A licensed PE in five states, a Fellow of ASCE, and currently Vice President of ASCE Arizona, she brings proven expertise in transportation planning, traffic operations, safety, and environmental compliance. Her nearly two decades with the City of Mesa reflect her strength in managing complex capital projects, securing federal funding, and championing equity-focused mobility initiatives. Bilingual and deeply collaborative, MaríaAngélica is recognized for delivering sustainable, resilient solutions that make a lasting impact on communities.
