On Feb 18th, 2026, Matrix Design Group presented the executive summary of the Housing Opportunities in Mentorship and Education Technical Assistance (HOME-TA) Program to the Maricopa Association of Governments Community Initiatives Coordinating Committee.
From August 2024 through December 2025, this initiative provided individualized and group technical assistance to support affordable housing efforts across member municipalities. Our work included housing studies, zoning ordinance assessments, customized engagement dashboards, and a comprehensive toolkit of partnership development and funding strategies.
Beyond delivering analysis, the focus was on implementation — equipping communities with practical, accessible tools that support informed decision-making and long-term housing strategy.
To extend the value of the program, Matrix developed an interactive Story Map compiling the project’s studies, toolkits, and presentations into a centralized, user-friendly resource for future municipal use.
