Little Dry Creek Parks & Open Space Master Plan

The Park and Open Space Master Plan for the 72-acre Little Dry Creek Corridor incorporates multiple uses, including flood storage, water quality, and a new community park. Located adjacent to a proposed commuter rail station and transit-oriented development (TOD), the park will serve as a new gateway and featured amenity with an arts center, amphitheater, boating pond, play lawn, and multiple picnic and playground facilities along the Little Dry Creek regional trail. Floodway and regional flood storage needs, as well as water quality facilities to serve the TOD, were incorporated in a revised local street network. Proposed wetlands and open space habitat were integrated into the overall planning effort.
