Located south of Moscow, Holiday Park Resort brings a new concept of resort development to Russia. Guests leave their cars as they enter the project and are immersed in a wide variety of activities accessible via walking paths, bicycles, and an internal shuttle system. Located on the banks of the Oka River, the centerpiece of the resort is a man-made 45-hectare (110-acre) lake. At full capacity, over 4,000 guests will use the resort. Amenities include a 300-room hotel, a large indoor water park; a centrally located village center with shops, restaurants, a marina, and other amenities; and a full-service sports center complete with indoor basketball courts, a full-size swimming pool, and other amenities. A five star spa located among boutique specialty shops is another integral element of the master plan.

Based on an international selection process, Design Studios West (DSW)—a Matrix company—was selected as the lead planning and design consultant in association with Ohlson Lavoie Architects. DSW provided all environmental analysis, development programs, master planning, and site planning for Holiday Park Resort.
