Matrix is providing civil engineering and construction services for this new 118-unit complex. The project includes modification of adjacent infrastructure to allow for construction and access to the six new buildings. Matrix’s scope of work included detail grading around the buildings to provide an urban “feel”, drainage design to confirm compliance with Master Drainage Study, and preparation of sanitary sewer and water plans. and site plans to ensure proper turning radii, parking dimensions and vehicle movements and transportation engineering plans for improvements within the adjacent City rights-of-ways.
During the entitlement process, Matrix coordinated submission of required plans for Denver Water, Denver Wastewater (Sanitary Sewer and Storm Drainage), and the Erosion Control Division for both Denver and the Colorado Department of Health and Environment (CDPHE). Matrix is working with the selected contractor during construction as well as preparing As-Built documents to obtain acceptance by Denver Wastewater for the storm sewer and sanitary sewer systems.
